The spread of the new coronavirus- COVID19- impacted the whole world. Countries imposed lockdowns, closed their borders, restricted travelling, and halted industrial activities. Hence, greenhouse gas emissions, resulting from burning fossils fuels, declined. This constituted an incredibly good demonstration of how the air quality could be if we were using electric cars. Powered by clean energy, electric vehicle would be the norm of the future. Computer CAD design and simulation software by EMWorks can help to improve efficiency and reliability of electric motors used in hybrid and electric cars.
