Multiphysics modeling of micro-electro-mechanical systems using SOLIDWORKS
Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS), is a technology that in its most general form can be defined as miniaturized mechanical and electro-mechanical components. The critical physical dimensions of MEMS devices can vary from well below one micron to several millimeters. Likewise, the types of MEMS devices can vary from relatively simple structures having no moving elements, to extremely complex electromechanical systems with multiple moving elements under the control of integrated microelectronics. MEMS devices can be found in many applications like gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, blood pressure sensors, microphones, gas sensors, etc. Typically, multiphysics simulation is needed to study and design different MEMS devices. In this webinar session, we will show multiple MEMS applications using EMS for SOLIDWORKS.
