Halbach arrays uniquely generate strong magnetic fields on one side while minimizing them on the other. By exploring configurations like 4-pattern and 8-pattern circular arrangements and inward magnetization, we’ve demonstrated their efficiency and versatility in applications such as electric motors, magnetic levitation, and scientific instruments.
The dual linear arrangement further shows how two Halbach arrays can work in parallel to concentrate fields, ideal for applications requiring precise magnetic control. Using EMWorks software for simulations, we’ve optimized performance and improved electromagnetic system designs.
